MATTHEWS, N.C. -- Jason Haigler spent $1,400 on a Baja ATV. But it broke soon after he bought it.“I’m disgusted. When you spend $1400 on something for your eight year old son and you don't even get two hours use out of it, it makes me mad,” he said.A piston in the engine shattered the block."And apparently the piston cracked the block. And supposedly they no longer make this part,” Haigler said.Haigler purchased the ATV from the Pep Boys in Matthews in late September. He thinks they're partly to blame for selling him an ATV that two weeks later Baja said the part he needs is no longer being made."I don't understand why they're still selling something and don't even have the parts to replace it. It doesn't make any sense," he said.Action 9 got in touch Baja in Arizona. A representative said it was in the process of trying to find a part from another engine to work on Haigler's ATV.But rather than keep him waiting, Baja authorized Pep Boys to give Haigler all of his money back.
