College: All You Can Eat?
The excitement of going off to college encompasses new challenges, new freedoms and the opportunity to control what and when you eat.For many college freshmen, walking into an all-you-can-eat dining hall can be overwhelming. Here are some suggestions:
- Try one new food each day.
- Limit your meal to one plate of food.
- Eat a salad first, then go back for the meal.
- Eat a piece of fruit before going to dinner.
- Take small portions of your food choices.
