Ms. Debbie Kwei-Cook is VP/General Manager for WQNC (Q92/7) and WPZS Radio One, Inc. (Praise 100.9), Charlotte. She began her career in 1984 as a news reporter for WMBA Radio (Donn Communications), in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Furthering her career in radio, Ms. Kwei-Cook rose from being an Account Manager to Sales Manager to VP/General Manager. Her rise to success is heightened by being the market's only VP/General Manager who happens to be a African-American woman..  

In addition to meeting the day-to-day expectations of the community, Ms. Kwei-Cook is adamant that her company commits itself to assisting specific needs of the people. Some of those causes include: The Hunterwoods Nursing Center, Crisis Assistance Ministries & Keeping the QC warm, USMC Toys for Tots annual drive, Salvation Army's Feed the Mind, Body, & Spirit, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and even rallying the community together to support The Coffee Cup's recent historical landmark designation.

Ms. Kwei-Cook is married and has two adorable children.
