NCAA Game Summary - Yale At Harvard

(Sports Network) - Travis Pinick scored 16 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Yale Bulldogs to an 81-65 victory over the Harvard Crimson in an Ivy League tussle at Lavietes Pavilion.

Nick Holmes and Alex Zampier added 12 points apiece in the win for Yale (13-15, 7-7 Ivy).

Jeremy Lin scored 19 points to pace Harvard (8-22, 3-11), while Andrew Pusar tallied 14 points in the losing effort. Drew Housman chipped in 12 points for the Crimson.

Yale shot 50.0 percent from the floor during the first period, allowing the Bulldogs to take a 39-30 lead into the break.

The Bulldogs converted 19-of-19 from the charity stripe to go with a 44.0 percent shooting effort during the second frame en route to the 16-point victory.

The Crimson were outrebounded by a 40-25 margin and committed 20 turnovers in the loss.

Kyle Singler had 20 points and tied a career-high with 12 rebounds, as fourth-ranked Duke topped No. 9 Purdue, 76-60, to remain unbeaten in the history of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Jon Scheyer also scored 20 and Nolan Smith contributed 12 points for Duke (8-0), which has won all 10 of its games in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. It's been a tremendous history of success for Duke against the Big Ten. The Blue Devils are 62-23 all-time against teams currently in the Big Ten, having won seven straight such contests. Robbie Hummel had 15 points for Purdue (5-2), which was coming off an overtime loss in the championship game of the NIT Season Tip-Off at the hands of Oklahoma. JaJuan Johnson contributed 12 points and E'Twaun Moore netted 10 before fouling out. The Boilermakers, who were riddled with foul trouble, shot 37.3 percent from the field. That included a 2-of-13 effort from three-point range.
