(Sports Network) - Stephen Curry scored 26 points as 25th- ranked Davidson controlled the game from the opening tip en route to a dominating 82-52 win over UNC-Greensboro that propelled the Wildcats into the Southern Conference finals and kept the nation's longest win streak alive.

The Wildcats shot 55.7 percent from the field in the win, and will look to win their third straight Southern Conference Tournament crown on Monday.

Kendall Toney led fifth-seeded UNC-Greensboro (19-12) with 12 points, while Kyle Hines added 10 points, seven rebounds and five blocked shots. The Spartans made just 16-of-45 shots from the field for the game, and converted only six shots from inside the three-point line.

Davidson controlled the first half from the opening moments, and Curry scored 13 points in the opening 20 minutes as the Wildcats made 18-of-34 shots in the session en route to opening up a 40-26 gap heading into the locker room.

The Wildcats extended their advantage early in the second half, dominating the opening minutes until pulling ahead 57-39 on Curry's three from the right baseline with just over 12 minutes to play.

After trading baskets, Curry cut to the basket for a layup that stretched the Davidson lead to 20, 61-41, just before the 10 minute mark. The Wildcats continued to pull away, and when Max Paulhus Gosselin finished a fast break with a one-handed slam just two minutes later, Davidson led 66-42.

The Spartans never mounted a challenge from there, and Davidson led by as many as 31 points in the final minutes as the Wildcats rolled into the championship game.
