SEC And CBS Sports Agree To 15-year Extension

(Sports Network) - The Southeastern Conference and CBS Sports announced a 15-year contract extension Thursday for broadcast rights to SEC football and basketball games.

Beginning with the 2009-10 season CBS Sports will continue to cover SEC home football games including the SEC championship, as well as SEC regular-season basketball. Under the agreement, CBS will showcase each week's conference matchup with the SEC "Game of the Week."

In addition to the broadcast rights, the deal includes certain digital, Internet, wireless, video-on-demand and enhanced highlight rights.
