NCAA Game Summary - U-C-F At Tulsa

Tulsa, OK -- (Sports Network) - Ben Uzoh shot 10-of-10 from the foul line and finished with 15 points, leading the Tulsa Golden Hurricane to a 71-53 win over the UCF Knights in Conference USA action at the Reynolds Center. Brett McDade was next in line with 13 points for Tulsa (17-12, 8-8 C-USA), followed by Jerome Jordan with 12, and Ray Reese with 10. Dave Noel led all scorers with 17 points for the Knights (16-14, 9-7), who finish fourth in the conference standings and will get a bye in the first round of the C-USA Championship. Jermaine Taylor shot just 5-of-21 from the floor and finished with 12 points. Both teams struggled from the floor in the opening half, though it was Tulsa taking a slim, 22-21 lead into the locker room at halftime. The Golden Hurricane woke up in the second stanza, shooting 66.7 percent from the field in addition to going 17-of-20 from the charity stripe. UCF's bench accounted for just six points in the loss, as the Knights shot just 33.9 percent as a team.
