NCAA Game Summary - Chattanooga At UNC Greensboro

Greensboro, NC -- (Sports Network) - Kyle Hines scored 26 points to lead the UNC Greensboro Spartans to an 87-84 win over the Chattanooga Mocs in Southern Conference play at Fleming Gym. UNCG (17-11, 11-8 SoCon) also received 22 points from Mikko Koivisto, while Kevin Oleksiak chipped in with 18 points in the win. Chattanooga (17-12, 12-7) was paced by Marcus Watts, who scored 22 points in a losing effort. Nicchaeus Doaks also got involved, scoring 17 points for the Mocs. The Spartans stormed out of the locker room, shooting 46.7 percent from the floor in the first half, to take a 40-24 lead at the break. UNCG pulled away in the second stanza, shooting 16-of-19 from the foul line, en route to a 23-point victory. Three-point shooting was the difference in this contest, as the Spartans outscored the Mocs 30-15 from beyond the arc.
