Conway, SC -- (Sports Network) - Jack Leasure scored 23 points in leading the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers to an 83-66 win over the Canisius Golden Griffins in a BracketBuster event from Kimbel Arena.

Joshua Mack scored 19 points for Coastal Carolina (15-12), and Moses Sonko checked in with 12.

Darnell Wilson scored a team-high 20 points for the Golden Griffins (11-16), who have now lost six straight. Frank Turner contributed 12 points, while Chuck Harris scored 11 and Corey Herring finished with 10.

Canisius shot 43.2 percent from the field in the opening half, as the Golden Griffins clung to a 34-33 halftime lead.

But Coastal Carolina turned it on in the second half, shooting 58.3 percent from the field while going 17-of-21 from the free-throw line en route to the 17-point win.

Coastal Carolina went 11-of-26 (42.3 percent) from three-point range in the game, while Canisius went just 2-of-16 (12.5 percent).
