NCAA Game Summary - Colorado Vs. Oklahoma

Kansas City, MO -- (Sports Network) - Tony Crocker scored 12 points as Oklahoma slipped by Colorado, 54-49, in a Big 12 quarterfinal. Longar Longar added 11 points and nine rebounds while Taylor Griffin had 10 points for the Sooners (22-10), who advance to play Texas in the semifinals on Saturday. Richard Roby connected for a game-high 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Buffaloes (12-20), who outlasted Baylor in double overtime on Thursday. Marcus Hall poured in 12 points in the loss. Roby's three to open the second half pulled Colorado within two, but Oklahoma led by as much as six on a Crocker layup just over six minutes in. The Buffaloes remained close from there, eventually creeping within 46-44 with 3:45 left on a Roby jumper. Crocker's three put the Sooners ahead 51-44 a little more than a minute later, but Dwight Thorne connected from beyond the arc with 30 seconds to go to make it 51-49. Crocker then hit two from the line in the final seconds to put the game away. Oklahoma sprinted to a 12-3 lead out of the gate, including the first 10 points. Colorado came within 15-13 on Hall's layup with 7:12 to play, but the Sooners recovered to go up by five. However, the Buffs answered to get back within a point at 20-19, before a 6-1 run to end the half put the Sooners up 26-20.
