GAME NOTES: The Cornell Big Red will try to become the first team other than Penn or Princeton to win every game on their Ivy league schedule, but to do that the team must get past the Tigers this evening at the Jadwin Gym. Cornell posted its 15th consecutive victory yesterday with a thrilling, 94-92 win over Penn at the Palestra. The 15 straight wins tied a school record for Cornell. The win over Penn not only snapped a 19-game losing skid at the Palestra, but also set a school record for most wins in a season. As for the Tigers, they snapped a nine-game losing skid with a hard-fought, 75-64 victory over Columbia. Even with the win, Princeton still possesses an atrocious league mark of 3-9. The only success the Tigers have enjoyed has occurred at the Jadwin Gym, as the team has collected all six of its victories on its home floor. With respects to the all-time series between the two schools on the hardwood, the Tigers have a commanding, 133-74 lead over Cornell. However, the Big Red have won six of the last seven matchups, including a 72-61 victory earlier this year.

The Big Red have been outstanding throughout the season at the offensive end of the floor, netting 77.4 ppg, while shooting a strong 49.1 percent from the floor. Ryan Wittman, who is shooting a ridiculous 46.8 percent from long range, is netting 15.4 ppg on the season, while also collecting 4.3 rpg. Louis Dale has also been terrific on the year, netting 13.5 ppg to go along with 4.4 rpg and 132 assists. Adam Gore rounds out the double-figure scorers with 10.2 ppg on the season. Cornell was at its best last night, scoring 94 points en route to a two-point victory over Penn. The Big Red shot 46.0 percent from the floor and also made 27-of-34 attempts from the foul line. Dale led the way with 24 points and seven rebounds, while Gore tallied 19 points. Wittman posted 17 points in the win, while Alex Tyler and Jeff Foote contributed 16 and 12 points, respectively.

The Tigers finally found their offensive tenacity, scoring 75 points in an 11- point victory over Columbia. It was a rather shocking performance by Princeton, which is averaging a meager 57.9 ppg, while shooting 42.2 percent from the floor. Noah Savage led the way in the win with 18 points, while Zach Woolridge and Kareem Maddox tallied 15 and 14 points, respectively. Jason Briggs chipped in with 12 points for the Tigers and also pulled down a team-best six rebounds. With Zach Finley (10.1 ppg) out with a knee injury, Savage becomes the team's go-to guy, as the guard is producing 10.1 ppg.

History will likely be made at Jadwin Gym this evening. Look for Cornell to grab a school record 22nd victory and finished its Ivy League schedule flawless.
