NCAA Game Summary - Wisconsin-Green Bay Vs Delaware State

Columbus, OH -- (Sports Network) - In the consolation round of the NIT Season Tip-Off, Mike Schachtner's 18 points fueled Wisconsin-Green Bay's 70-50 victory over non-conference foe Delaware State Hornets at the Value City Arena. Schachtner shot a healthy 8-of-9 from the field and tied for the Phoenix (2-1) lead with five rebounds. Ryan Tillema contributed 14 points off the bench and also had five boards. Roy Bright was the lone bright spot for the Hornets (2-2) with 18 points and a game-high six rebounds. Marcus Neal's 0-of-7 performance from the field was a large contributor to the defeat. Wisc-Green Bay used a 14-2 spurt at the end of the first half to take a commanding 38-24 lead at the break. Though the Hornets improved their second half percentage to 47.8 percent, they could not cut into the Phoenix lead. As a whole, Wisconsin-Green Bay shot 57.1 percent from the field in the winning effort.
