Cincinnati, OH -- (Sports Network) - Draelon Burns poured in 24 points to lead the DePaul Blue Demons to a 60-54 victory over the Cincinnati Bearcats in Big East Conference action.

Dar Tucker pitched in 15 points for DePaul (11-18, 6-11 Big East), which halted a five-game losing skid.

John Williamson scored 19 points for Cincinnati (13-16, 8-9), which has lost its last four outings.

DePaul nailed 9-of-15 three-pointers in the first half and led 31-28 at intermission.

The second half was close from start to finish, and it took two free throws apiece from Burns and Cliff Clinkscales in the closing seconds to seal the victory.

DePaul overcame a 40-29 rebounding disadvantage in the clash.

The win by the Blue Demons halted a 15-game losing skid at Cincinnati.
