(Sports Network) - DeJuan Blair recorded a double-double with 22 points and a game-high 14 rebounds to lead the Pittsburgh Panthers to a 98-79 victory against the DePaul Blue Demons in Big East Conference action at the Petersen Events Center.

The Panthers (22-9, 10-8 Big East) had a total of six players score in double figures as they closed out the regular season with three wins in four tries. Sam Young tallied 19 points, Gilbert Brown 13 off the bench, Keith Benjamin 12 points, while Ronald Ramon and Levance Fields both added 11 points. Fields, who shot just 4-of-12 from the field on the day, nearly posted a triple-double with his nine rebounds and nine assists.

The Blue Demons (11-19, 6-12) were paced by Dar Tucker and his game-high 23 points, adding seven rebounds, followed by Draelon Burns and Mac Koshwal with 18 and 12 points, respectively, in the sixth loss in the last seven outings for the program.

Pitt ran out to a commanding 13-2 lead at the 13:52 mark of the first half and never looked back, claiming a 45-39 edge at the break on the strength of 55.2 percent shooting from the floor.

In the second half the Panthers continued to shoot the ball well at a 56.8 percent clip from the floor, including 6-of-8 beyond the arc, en route to the 19-point triumph.

Not only did the home team make good on 11-of-20 from three-point range, the Panthers also controlled the glass as well, 46-27.
