NCAA Game Summary - East Tennessee State Vs. UL-Lafayette

Honolulu, HI -- (Sports Network) - Chris Gradnigo scored 21 points to lead the UL- Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns to an 82-80 overtime victory over the East Tennessee State Buccaneers in the third place game of the 44th annual Rainbow Classic. La'Ryan Gary posted a career-high 16 points for UL-Lafayette (4-7), while teammate Travis Bureau also managed his best offensive output as a college player with 15 points. The Ragin' Cajuns got a double-double from Randell Daigle, who finished with career-best totals of 14 points and 10 assists. Kevin Tiggs poured in a game-high 27 points in the loss for East Tennessee State (5-7), and he also had 10 rebounds. Courtney Pigram finished with 17 points for the Bucs. UL-Lafayette scored 15 unanswered points in the first half, enabling the squad to earn a 44-34 lead at intermission. The Bucs went on an amazing 24-0 run that enabled them to hold a 58-49 advantage with 11:11 remaining, but the Cajuns managed to fight back and force overtime. In the extra session, Gradnigo hit a big three-pointer and a late free throw to seal the victory.
