NCAA Game Summary - Eastern Kentucky At Austin Peay

(Sports Network) - Ernest Fields turned in 15 points and eight rebounds, as the top-seeded Austin Peay Governors cruised to a 76-51 victory over the eighth-seeded Eastern Kentucky Colonels in the quarterfinals of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.

Derek Wright and Kyle Duncan each netted 13 points for the Governors (22-10), who will now move on to face Tennessee-Martin in the semifinal round on Friday. Wes Channels scored 12 points in the win, while Fernandez Lockett chipped in with 10 points.

Adam Leonard led the way for EKU (14-16) with a game-high 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the floor.

The Governors drained 7-of-14 shots from three-point range in the first half, and they held a 39-27 lead at the intermission.

Austin Peay pulled away in the second stanza, shooting 48.0 percent from the floor and converting 10-of-13 free-throw attempts for the 25-point triumph.

The Austin Peay dominated the glass, 43-26, and also scored 24 points from 16 turnovers by EKU.
