NCAA Game Summary - Fresno State At Utah State

(Sports Network) - Jaycee Carroll poured in 33 points on the strength of his 6-of-11 effort from three-point range to lead the Utah State Aggies to a 79-66 victory over the Fresno State Bulldogs in Western Athletic Conference action.

Gary Wilkinson posted 17 points and 10 rebounds for Utah State (21-9, 10-4 WAC), which improved to a perfect 17-0 at home.

Kevin Bell exploded for 31 points on 13-of-19 shooting from the floor in the loss for Fresno State (13-17, 5-10). Eddie Miller pitched in 14 points for the Bulldogs.

Utah State shot 53.6 percent from the floor in the first half and led 40-30 at intermission.

A 13-of-16 effort from the foul line over the final 20 minutes enabled the Aggies to seal the victory.

Utah State earned a 36-27 rebounding advantage in the clash, key to the victory.
