NCAA Game Summary - Grambling At Texas A&M

College Station, TX -- (Sports Network) - Josh Carter scored 24 points, with all of his baskets coming from behind the arc, to lead the 11th-ranked Texas A&M Aggies to a rout of Grambling, 101-27, at Reed Arena. Joseph Jones added 20 points for the Aggies, who won four straight. Acie Law IV had 13 points and dished out 14 assists, while Donald Sloan had a 12-point performance off the bench. Anthony Williams and Kendric Baker each had six points for the Tigers, who have lost five of six. Grambling State shot just 20 percent (10-of-51) from the floor in the contest, committed 30 turnovers and were out rebounded 48-34. The Aggies scored the first 28 points of the game, paced by the strong shooting of Carter, who was 5-of-6 from beyond the arc and had 15 points in the surge. Texas A&M carried a 65-13 lead into the break after shooting 64 percent (23- of-36) from the floor in the first half. Grambling State turnovers resulted in 34 Aggie points during the stretch.Game Notes:The Tigers went 4-of-20 from the floor in the first half...Grambling is 0-5 on the road this season...The Aggies hold a 4-0 all-time series lead...Texas A&M has won 15 straight games at home, the 12th longest streak in the country.
