Seattle, WA -- (Sports Network) - Arizona Reid posted a game-high 29 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the High Point Panthers to a 76-53 victory over the NJIT Highlanders in the consolation game of the West Regional for the NIT Season Tip-Off at Bank of America.

Reid shot a solid 11-of-18 from the floor in the High Point (1-2) victory, and Eugene Harris netted 21 points while dishing out four assists. Mike Jefferson chipped in 11 points for the Panthers.

Nesho Milosevic led NJIT (0-3) with 13 points and seven rebounds, and Kraig Peters also notched a 13-point performance in the loss.

High Point shot 44.8 percent from the floor in the first half while limiting NJIT to an anemic 29.2 percent, allowing the Panthers to go into the break with a commanding 34-16 lead.

In the second stanza, the Panthers continued to surge, converting 58.3 percent of their attempts from the field, in addition to a 13-for-17 effort from the foul line en route to the 23-point victory.

NJIT struggled with ball control in the loss, as the Highlanders were responsible for 21 turnovers.
