NCAA Game Summary - Utah State At Idaho

Moscow, ID -- (Sports Network) - Jaycee Carroll tallied a contest-high 23 points and the Utah State Aggies cruised past the Idaho Vandals, 78-58, in Western Athletic Conference play at the Cowan Spectrum. Gary Wilkinson turned in 17 points for the Aggies (23-9, 12-4 WAC), who earned a share of the WAC regular season title. Trevor Morris scored 14 points to guide Idaho (8-20, 5-11), which had its two- game win streak snapped. Clyde Johnson netted 13 points, and Mike Hall finished with 10 points in the losing cause. Utah State shot a blistering 65.4 percent from the floor over the first 20 points of play and it carried a 41-24 lead to the break. In the second period, the Aggies shot an equally as good 61.1 percent from the field, as they captured the 20-point win. Utah State converted 19-of-22 free-throw attempts in the game and it also held a 34-19 advantage on the boards.
