Kent State Welcomes Back Senderoff As Associate Head Coach

POSTED: 7:04 pm EDT April 15, 2008

(Sports Network) - Kent State mens basketball head coach Geno Ford announced Tuesday the return of Rob Senderoff to the program as the associate head coach.

Senderoff, a 12-year coach at the Division I level, spent four seasons with the Golden Flashes (2002-06) and helped lead the program to four straight 20- win seasons and four postseason appearances.

"I'm excited to be back at Kent State," said Senderoff. "I appreciate Coach Ford, Athletic Director Laing Kennedy and the University administration for giving me this opportunity. I look forward to continuing the success and tradition of the program."

Senderoff spent the 2006-07 season at Indiana, but resigned in October 2007 amid a university investigation that he and the Indiana staff broke NCAA rules by making illegal phone calls to recruits.
