POSTED: 11:21 pm EST March 5, 2008

(Sports Network) - DeMarre Carroll came off the bench to score a game-high 26 points, lifting the Missouri Tigers to an 81-75 double-overtime victory over the Iowa State Cyclones in Big 12 play at Mizzou Arena.

Fellow reserve Leo Lyons tallied 19 points and nine rebounds for Missouri (16-14, 6-9 Big 12), while Jason Horton finished with 10 points.

Iowa State (14-16, 4-11), which hasn't won a conference road game all season, was paced by Diante Garrett's 20 points. Jiri Hubalek added 15 points and Craig Brackins scored 13 for the Cyclones, who have lost eight of nine.

Iowa State shot just 37 percent from the floor in the first half, including 1- of-8 shooting from beyond the arc. Still, the Cyclones outscored the Tigers, 11-5 from the free-throw line and took a 32-27 lead into the half.

Mizzou trailed by as many as 12 three minutes into the second half, but the Tigers went on a quick 6-0 spurt to keep it a tight game. Lyons forced overtime by converting a three-point play with 29 seconds remaining in regulation.

Lyons gave the Tigers a six-point lead on a layup with 2:33 to play in the first overtime, but Iowa State went on to outscore Mizzou, 7-1 in the final 1:21 of the frame.

The Tigers took control in the second overtime, thanks to six points from Carroll.

Missouri's bench proved pivotal, as the Tigers reserves outscored the Cyclones reserves, 58-16 for the game.
