Winston-Salem, NC -- (Sports Network) - Jeff Teague scored 25 points to lead the Wake Forest Demon Deacons to a 78-67 win over the NC State Wolfpack in an ACC event at Lawrence Joel Coliseum.

James Johnson added 19 points for Wake Forest (17-12, 7-9 ACC), which snapped a four-game losing streak in its final game of the regular season. Ishmael Smith chipped in with 14 points in the win.

Gavin Grant paced the Wolfpack (15-15, 4-12) with 16 points, while J.J. Hickson and Brandon Costner added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Demon Deacons stormed out of the locker room with a 13-2 run to open the contest and eventually shot 5-of-7 from three-point range in the first half, to take a 35-29 lead at the break.

Wake Forest pulled away in the second stanza, shooting 13-of-14 at the foul line, on its way to the 11-point victory.

The Demon Deacons owned the post, outscoring NC State 32-20 in the paint.
