NCAA Game Summary - Oklahoma State At Southern Illinois

(Sports Network) - Matt Shaw racked up 21 points and nine rebounds to lead the fourth-seeded Southern Illinois Salukis to a 69-53 victory over the fifth-seeded Oklahoma State Cowboys in the first round of the NIT.

Randal Falker posted 15 points and nine boards for Southern Illinois (18-14), which will battle top-seeded Arizona State in the next round. Joshua Bone contributed 11 points for the Salukis, who got 10 points from Tony Boyle.

Terrel Harris had 20 points in the loss for Oklahoma State (17-16), and James Anderson pitched in 13 points.

Oklahoma State missed all 11 of its three-point attempts in the first half, and Southern Illinois owned a 26-19 lead at intermission.

The Salukis connected on 56.5 percent of their field goal attempts over the final 20 minutes to seal the victory.

Southern Illinois earned a 39-21 rebounding advantage in the contest, overshadowing 18 turnovers.
