NCAA Game Summary - Arizona State At Oregon State

Corvallis, OR -- (Sports Network) - Ty Abbott scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Arizona State Sun Devils to a 77-64 victory over the Oregon State Beavers in a Pac-10 tilt at Gill Coliseum. Eric Boateng and Jamelle McMillan tallied 12 points apiece in the win for Arizona State (19-11, 9-9 Pac-10). Lathen Wallace posted a game-high 22 points to pace Oregon State (6-24, 0-18), while Marcel Jones tallied 14 points to go with six rebounds in the losing effort. The Sun Devils held Oregon State to a meager 31.0 percent shooting clip from the floor during the first period to open a 38-30 halftime lead. Arizona State shot at a blazing 61.1 percent during the second stanza en route to the 13-point victory. The Beavers shot just 33.8 percent from the floor, including 13-of-39 from long range, in the loss.
