Kingston, RI -- (Sports Network) - Leemire Goldwire's 34 points and seven rebounds helped push the Charlotte 49ers to a 74-64 road win over the Rhode Island Rams in Atlantic 10 action at The Ryan Center.

Lamont Mack chipped in with 19 points for the 49ers (18-12, 9-7 A-10), who have won four of their last five games. An'Juan Wilderness shot just 1-of-7 from the floor, but did grab a team-high 11 rebounds.

Kahiem Seawright paced Rhode Island (21-10, 7-9) with 17 points and 15 rebounds, though the Rams fell for the sixth time in their last seven games. Parfait Bitee added 15 points, and Will Daniels finished with 12 points and eight boards.

The 49ers shot just 33.3 percent from the floor in the first half, yet they managed to knock down seven three-pointers and trailed by only a 38-35 margin at the break.

Charlotte went 5-of-9 from the perimeter in the second stanza, while holding Rhode Island to 7-of-26 shooting from the floor.

The game featured nine ties and 15 lead changes, but the Rams were plagued by spotty three-point shooting throughout, as they went just 3-of-21 for the game.
