Daytona Beach, FL -- (Sports Network) - Will Daniels registered a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds as the Rhode Island Rams captured an 80-65 win over the Stetson Hatters as part of the Glenn Wilkes Classic at the Ocean Center.

Kahiem Seawright contributed a double-double of his own for the Rams (4-0) with 12 points and 11 rebounds, adding six assists as well. Joe Mbang chipped in 12 points off the bench, while Jimmy Baron and Lamonte Ulmer came away with 10 points apiece.

The Hatters (1-3) were paced by Garfield Blair who dropped in 17 points, followed by Sheldon Oliver with 10 points and nine rebounds in the setback.

URI shot just 1-of-8 beyond the arc and 4-of-10 at the free-throw line in the first half, but thanks to 51.4 percent from the floor the squad moved out to a 43-29 advantage at the break.

In the second half Stetson made good on only 29.4 percent from the field, allowing the Rams to cruise to the 15-point triumph.

The Hatters made a mere 33.3 percent from the floor on the night and just 2- of-12 beyond the arc.
