NCAA Game Summary - Troy State At Wisconsin-Green Bay

Green Bay, WI -- Matt Rohde knocked down 9-of-14 shots from
three-point range, en route to a game-high 29 points to lead the Phoenix of
Wisconsin-Green Bay to a 75-62 victory against the Troy State Trojans in the
title game of the Oneida Bingo & Casino Classic from the Resch Center. Rohde was joined in double figures by Brandon Morris (tournament MVP) and Mike
King who tallied 19 and 10 points, respectively. Morris also collecting a
game-high 10 rebounds in the victory for the Phoenix (7-4), who won for the
fifth straight time. The Trojans (6-3) were paced by Kendrick Johnson who tallied 13 points, while
Rob Lewin tallied 12 on 4-of-11 shooting from the field. Greg Davis added 11
points and seven assists, Herbert Evans 10 points and eight rebounds as Troy
State had its four-game win streak snapped. Despite not making a single trip to the free-throw line in the first half, the
Trojans managed to stay close at the break, trailing by a score of 29-26. In the second half Green Bay lit up the scoreboard by knocking down a sizzling
65.5 percent from the field, including 8-of-10 behind the three-point line in
the 13-point win. The starters for the Trojans shot a combined 18-of-53 on the night, with the
team converting 34.9 percent from the floor overall. The Phoenix made 53.6 percent of their shots from the floor on the night, and
an even more impressive 59.1 percent beyond the arc while hitting just 2-of-4
at the free-throw line.
