NCAA Game Summary - Bradley At Virginia

(Sports Network) - Jeremy Crouch poured in 27 points to lead the Bradley Braves to a 96-85 victory over the Virginia Cavaliers in semifinal round action of the College Basketball Invitational at the John Paul Jones Arena.

Theron Wilson added 17 points and eight rebounds for Bradley (20-15), which will move into the title round to face the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in a three-game set. Matt Salley, Daniel Ruffin, and Andrew Warren each tallied 11 points for the Braves, while Salley also grabbed 10 boards and Warren dished out eight assists.

Jeff Jones scored 26 points for Virginia (17-16), while Sean Singletary tallied 17 points to go along with eight assists. Adrian Joseph added 15 points off the bench, while Mamadi Diane chipped in 10 points and pulled down eight caroms.

Both teams fought hard in the first half, as the Cavs netted 47.2 percent of their attempts, while Bradley posted a 40.5 percent shooting effort. However, neither team could take advantage going into the break, leaving score tied at 42-42.

The Braves pulled away in the second stanza, shooting 56.7 percent from the floor, while also connecting on 6-of-12 three-point attempts en route to the 11-point victory.

Bradley made 21-of-27 free throw attempts, while Virginia connected on only 6- of-14 shots from the charity stripe.
