Thomas Resigns As Western Illinois' Basketball Coach

Macomb, IL -- (Sports Network) - Western Illinois men's basketball coach Derek Thomas resigned on Tuesday.

He had been at the helm of the school for the past five seasons and had a mark of 40-104.

The Leathernecks went 12-18 this season with a 10-4 mark at home, the teams best home court record since the 1998-99 season.
