Branden Ledbetter spotted the Broncos a 6-0 lead with a five-yard touchdown reception from Hiller at the 12:46 mark of the second quarter. Mike Jones' extra-point attempt was blocked.

Temple kicker Jake Brownell made it a 6-3 game with a 24-yard field goal with 6:35 to play in the half.

Bonds capped off a five-play, 61-yard drive with a one-yard touchdown plunge in the opening minutes of the second half, giving the Broncos a 13-3 lead.

WMU kicker Chris Kelly added a 33-yard field goal later in the quarter to account for the game's final score.

Temple's offense was virtually nonexistent, as the Owls finished with just six first downs and 146 yards of total offense for the game. Ledbetter's first- quarter TD grab was the 14th of his career, which sets the school's all-time mark.
