Athens, GA -- (Sports Network) - University of Georgia head football coach Mark Richt has doubled the suspension of redshirt freshman fullback Fred Munzenmaier following his arrest last weekend.Munzenmaier and sophomore defensive back Donavon Baldin were arrested in separate alcohol-related incidents and were each issued a minimum suspension of one game. Munzenmaier, however, will now miss the first two games of the 2008 season against Georgia Southern and Central Michigan. "I'm adding a second game to the original one-game suspension after reading the complete police report and discussing it with Fred," said Richt. "The way he handled the situation with the police officer was totally inappropriate and demonstrated a lack of respect for authority. We expect our players, just like my children, to show total respect at all times for those in authority and especially police officers." Munzenmaier recorded six yards on just one carry in 10 games this season, while Baldwin failed to record a tackle in eight games for Georgia (11-2) which decimated previously unbeaten Hawaii, 41-10, in the Sugar Bowl on New Year's Day. Both players have also been assigned community service and internal discipline.
