Finch Gets OK To Play At Indiana

Thursday, August 21, 2008

(Sports Network) - Indiana safety Jerimy Finch received a waiver from the NCAA Thursday enabling him to play for the school this season after transferring from Florida.

Finch appeared in three games at linebacker for the Gators last year before suffering a broken leg versus Tennessee. He collected seven tackles and was one of three true freshmen to record an interception.

Finch was a two-time first-team All-State player at Warren Central High School in Indiana where he was rated the No. 1 safety in the nation by Rivals.com.
