(Sports Network) - Inoke Funaki threw for a career-high 224 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for a score to lead the Hawaii Warriors to a 24-14 victory over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs in Western Athletic Conference action.

Kealoha Pilares finished with 54 rushing yards and 52 receiving yards on five catches for Hawaii (3-3, 2-1 WAC).

Taylor Bennett completed only 11-of-29 passes with two interceptions in the loss for Louisiana Tech (2-3, 0-2).

The only points of the first quarter came on a six-yard touchdown run by Hawaii's Funaki.

Louisiana Tech tied the contest at 7-7 midway through the second quarter with a five-yard touchdown run by Patrick Jackson.

Funaki put Hawaii back on top by a score of 14-7 with just over four minutes remaining in the first half, as he tossed a 25-yard touchdown pass to Greg Salas.

Less than one minute later, the Warriors scored again to make the score 21-7, as Funaki threw a 20-yard touchdown strike to Pilares.

With nine minutes left in the third quarter, Hawaii extended its advantage to 24-7 with a 30-yard field goal by Daniel Kelly.

With under one minute remaining in the contest, the Bulldogs added a touchdown. Driving for a score, Tech's Ross Jenkins fumbled the ball into the end zone, and teammate Myke Compton recovered the ball. Still, Hawaii walked away with the 10-point victory.

The Warriors racked up 402 total yards and held the ball for over 36 minutes.
