Saving Power

In addition to reductions in water usage, we are conserving electricty.

Power plants require LARGE amounts of water!

I hang out my laundry and have set the thermostat to the 'Off' position. Every little bit helps!

Capturing Air Conditioner Water

I collect the drain water from our air conditioner unit in an 18 gallon rubbermaid tote.

On warmer days it gets about three quarters full and I use it to water my outdoor plants.
