"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" was the big winner at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday night, but the real treasure was host Sarah Silverman's skewering of Paris Hilton hours before the socialite checked herself into the Los Angeles County jail.In her opening monologue, Silverman reminded the crowd that Hilton was going to jail soon, and the crowd erupted in laughter and applause. She also made crude jokes at Hilton's expense, pointing out that the bars on her jail cell would be painted to resemble a part of the male anatomy. In two cutaway shots after Silverman's barbs, Hilton had looks of disgust. Among those caught on camera laughing at the jokes was Jack Nicholson, who won the first award of the night for Best Villain for "The Departed."The second of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" trilogy, "Dead Man's Chest" won the MTV Movie Awards for Best Movie and Best Performance for Johnny Depp.Known for irreverent categories and unpredictable ceremony, the MTV Movie Awards lived up to its reputation Sunday night. Celebrating the Best Kiss Award for "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby," Sacha Baron Cohen coaxed co-star Will Farrell in a drawn-out kiss that ended with both men rolling on the floor.Cohen returned to the stage later on to accept the Best Comedic Performance award for playing his Kazakh alter-ego in "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan."The awards ceremony had a "Borat" feel throughout the night. Perhaps the biggest reminder was a large actor meant to resemble "Borat" co-star Ken Davitian during the movie's infamous nude wrestling scene. Silverman announced at the beginning of the ceremony that, instead of playing off honorees with music when their acceptance speeches run long, the Davitian body double would chase them off instead. The nude wrestling scene from "Borat," not coincidentally, was up for Best Fight Scene. But the award went to "300," where Gerald Butler's King Leonidas battled the Uber Immortal.Other winners at the ceremony included Jaden Smith for Breakthrough performance for "The Pursuit of Happyness" and "Transformers" for Best Summer Movie You Haven't Seen Yet.In the fan-submitted movie competition, "United 300" won for Best Movie Spoof. Josh Greenbaum from the University of Southern California won the mtvU Best Filmmaker on Campus Award.Cameron Diaz introduced her "Ogre husband," Mike Myers, to accept the MTV Generational Award.Winners of the MTV Movie Awards receive a popcorn bucket with gold-plated popcorn inside.
