Star Jones not happy with her former boss on "The View."

In her new memoir, "Audition," Barbara Walters slams Jones for the way she carried on toward the end of her run on "The View."

Walters apparently complains in her book about how Jones kept quiet about her gastric bypass surgery on the air, but didn't keep quiet about her lavish wedding.

Jones isn't taking the revelations quietly. She responded to Us Weekly by drawing attention another bombshell in Walters' book about how the newswoman had an affair in the 1970s with Massachusetts Sen. Edward Brooke, who was married at the time.

"Barbara Walters, in the sunset of her life, is reduced to publicly branding herself as an adulterer, humiliating an innocent family with accounts of her illicit affair and speaking negatively against me all for the sake of selling a book," Jones told Us Weekly.

Jones said all of that speaks to what she calls Walters' "true character."

Jones came forward about her surgery and in March, she quietly filed for divorce from banker Al Reynolds.
