Jimmy Kimmel, Sarah Silverman Split

Comedy Couple Made Dueling Love Affair Videos

Maybe Matt Damon and Ben Affleck really did come between Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel -- because they've broken up.

From the outside, Silverman and Kimmel seemed like a solid couple. They'd been together for five years and earlier this year, they had fun with their video duel on Kimmel ABC late-night talk show.

Silverman debuted a clip on Kimmel's show of her and Matt Damon singing about their fake love affair, with a title that can't be printed here.

Kimmel later responded with a star-studded video with a similarly colorful title declaring a romance with Ben Affleck.

Silverman has been on Kimmel's show many times.

The split that was first reported on Vanity Fair magazine's Web site Monday and later confirmed by Kimmel's publicist, who had no further comment.
