Aiken CD Highest-Selling Debut Album Since 1993
'Measure Of A Man' Nears Platinum Status

RALEIGH, N.C. -- "American Idol 2" runner-up Clay Aiken's debut CD is on its way to going platinum.
"Measure Of A Man" is 20,000 CDs shy of selling one million copies.
In just over three weeks, nearly 980,000 copies have been sold.
According to RCA, "Measure of A Man" is the highest-selling debut album since 1993, when Snoop Dogg released "Doggy Style."
It is also the third fastest-selling album this year.
