Longevity research shows that as people approach the second half of life, a shift in perspective occurs. This 5-week course will provide participants with value focused Design Thinking tools. You will create a personal odyssey document that supports your authentic values as you prepare to enter a new phase in life. These tools will help you examine current health assumptions and explore creative options to prioritize your values based on personal life experiences and needs. We will explore meaningful sustainable personal life plans to be physically fit, mentally agile, and identify supportive social networks, in a complex personal and technological environment. Through weekly self-reflections and sustainable change-practices you will focus on achieving meaningful and healthy life goals.
Instructor: Randall Stafford, MD, PhD, Stanford Professor of Medicine is an expert on personal health change management; and Manjula Waldron, PhD, Consulting Professor ME Design, with an extensive expertise in design thinking.
