This course will define, analyze, and discuss the planning for acquiring and allocation of capital within the firm. Specifically addressed: methods of financing (internal/external); corporate growth; return on investment; cost of capital; leverage; dividend policy. Each of the foregoing will be discussed in the context of ‘risk and return’, the foundation of corporate finance.
