The Charity League of Charlotte will be holding its 65th Annual Showcase of Artisans fundraiser on Saturday November 17, 2012 from 9 am to 2 pm at Saint Gabriel’s Catholic Church at 3028 Providence Road in Charlotte. The Showcase features holiday home decorations, pottery, woodturning and carving, jewelry design, glasswork, quilting, collage art, shell art, photography, fashion accessories and more. 2012 marks the Showcase’s 65th year! Also featured is the Charity League Cookbook, which was designated in 1999 as “The Official Cookbook of Charlotte.” The Charity League of Charlotte, an intergenerational non-profit group, is celebrating 91 years of helping at-risk children in the Charlotte area.
