The event takes place 100% indoors at the Convention Center in Uptown Charlotte. This is the previous home of the American Craft Council. With the excitement of a cosmopolitan city and the ease of Southern charm, Charlotte presents a unique atmosphere where big city style meets down-home appeal. The surrounding attractions include the New Mint Museum, Harvey B. Gantt Center, Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, and the N.C. Blumenthal Theatre. It is adjacent to the new Nascar Museum, that has built a parking lot that holds 800-900 cars. The Charlotte Convention is not only a well-known facility but the building also a presents a friendly environment for all to enjoy! Juried by art professionals, this high quality art show brings world-renowned & top notch local Carolina artists to sell their paintings, clay, glass, sculpture, wood, fiber, jewelry, photography and more. All work is original and hand made by the artist who is present at the show and happy to answer any questions about their work. Live art demonstrations allow many opportunities for the patrons to be able to understand the processes that the artists' go through to create their specific medium.   $8/day; 3-day pass $10 12 & under free
