What in the world is a Timber Doodle This is just one nickname for a bird that has eyes to the rear of its head, eats only earthworms, and has a showcase mating ritual We are lucky at Crowders Mountain to have a few of these cute little birds as occasional winter visitors, and there are so many more fun things to learn about them. If the weather cooperates we may have a short hike to look for our birds. Join us in the visitor center auditorium come rain or shine. Visitor Center Auditoruim
