Join us for the 6th Annual North Carolina Children and Nature (NCCAN!) Conference.  We are expecting this years conference to be something wonderful.  We are connecting with the NC Environmental Education Centers Conference at the amazing Schiele Museum of Natural History in Gatonia, North Carolina.  Come and have some fun networking with others from across the state and country, learn more about the children and nature movement through a new Open Space Technology conference format, and spend some time outdoors hiking and networking with some new friends. Conference ProgramOpen Space Technology (OST) Overview Registration includes morning refreshments, a full day of speakers and workshops, lunch, and afternoon snack.  There will also be the option to attend a joint social event at the Fish Camp with the folks from the EE Centers Conference.  Cost would be $15 and can be collected at the time of the event.  With the new Open Space Technology format, we are asking participants of this years conference to provide us with a topic answering the following question:  "What should NCCAN! focus its energy on in 2013 to be the most effective in helping children engage with nature?"  Click here to add your topic.
