Join us for the film screening and discussion of "Ed's Story" on March 2, 2013, at Covenant Presbyterian Church from 1-3PM.  "Ed's Story" is a 5-part short film series featuring pastor and author Ed Dobson.  Suffering is everywhere and it changes us, for better or worse.  Ed's Story is our story. Diagnosed with ALS and given a short time to live, Ed wrestles with the issues suffering raises: worry, identity, forgiveness, gratitude, and healing.  What emerges in this film series is his discovery that there is always hope. - Overview provided by edsstory.com The film will be shown in the Fellowship Hall at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1000 East Morehead Street, Charlotte, NC, 28204.A short discussion will follow each film.  Although Ed's Story chronicles how a former Christian minister draws strength from his faith, we will focus on the universal message of hope.  The Joe Martin ALS Foundation helps people of all faiths and welcomes people of all religious backgrounds to attend.Learn more about "Ed's Story" and watch the first film at http://edsstory.com/ To attend this event please register above or  RSVP  to Gloria Lacey: GloriaLacey@joemartinalsfoundation.orgOr call 704-332-1929This event is free and open to the public.  Donations will be accepted to support the Joe Martin ALS Foundation.  All donations are tax deductible and will be used to help people live actively with ALS.
