United Way of Central Carolinas is partnering with UNC Charlotte and the Center for Adolescent Literacy to hold a tutor training for volunteers who work with children and youth in one of our partner agencies.This training will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills needed to build an effective relationship with a child you tutor. For your convenience, we are offering 2 trainings on Feb. 26th from 9-11 a.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Hope Haven, Inc., a United Way partner agency.Parking is free ***Enter from Craighead Street and follow United Way event signs to the Conference Center***
