Davidson College invites the public on Thursday, March 28, to a talk titled “Designing Loops and Labyrinths with Integer Programs,” by Robert Bosch, Biggs Professor of Natural Science at Oberlin College. The program will demonstrate how mathematical optimization can be employed in the construction of visual artwork, specifically a labyrinth.
