Sales | Retail
In the early stages of a startup, or really any small business, you pretty much focus on just 2 things: building and selling. Most entrepreneurs have the building part down, designing products or services with their users/customers in mind and solving real pains or providing real benefit to them. But what happens when you have to go out and convince those customers to do business with you? What happens when you have to sell? This workshop series is designed to help entrepreneurs who have passion and a product or service they need to take to market, but maybe feel a little unsure about the idea of going out and selling it. After all, you didn't start a business to be a salesperson, right? In Part I, you'll fine tune your value proposition, elevator pitch, and client story, as well as discuss some basic lead generation and marketing strategies. It is recommended that you come familiar with the Business Model Canvas. Come prepared to work!In Part II, you'll learn how to use questions and real conversations to educate your customer and add value (rather than pitching like a used car salesman). You'll also come away with some basic sales strategy and tactics to overcome objections. If you've struggled with sales and have a specific question or issue that you'd like to see covered, please send us a note at www.blackgarzon.com or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
