Compliance Soultions, the nation's largest provider of OSHA HAZWOPER Training in the country, will be conducting Open Enrollment Classes in 10 different cities Every Week! These Seminars meet or exceed all the federal requirements for Training mandated under 29 CFR 1910.120(e) - HAZWOPER (40, 24, 16 & 8 Hour). The workers attending this instructor-led class will cover 18 different OSHA suggested topics to include: Health and Safety Procedures, PPE used during work operations at hazardous material sites, Medical Monitoring and many others. Our instructors emphasize a practical approach to worksite health and safety... As such, attendees learn to recognize site hazards and take appropriate steps to prevent illness or injuries while on the jobsite.
The initial 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification training is for site workers who have responsibilities to remediate (clean-up) hazardous materials at controlled and un-controlled hazardous sites with hazards or work activities that present some potential for death or injury. Thus, 40-Hour training is also required by site-supervisors. OSHA states anyone who is considered a site-supervisor needs an additional 8 hours of supervisory training.

The 24-Hour HAZWOPER Certification training course is for "part-time site-workers". These are the individuals who are are NOT required to deal directly with cleanup (this would generally be described as not working in conditions that require a protection level of "C or above). These include drillers, surveyors, contractors, administrative personnel, drivers etc. So... if you work on a controlled or hazardous site, OSHA requires you to have 24 hours of safety training under OSHA 29 CFR1910.120(e).
Employees who have completed the initial 24 or 40-Hour HAZWOPER course must go through an 8-Hour Refresher annually. Mandated training can be found in 29 CFR1910.120. Workers attending this course will cover changes in related regulations, several class safety activities, a mock dress-out, health and safety procedures, and personnel protection during work operations at hazardous material sites and many other areas.
The major emphasis of the class is to provide participants with the ability to evaluate site conditions, recognize situations which may or may not be within their abilities, and to evaluate conditions where assistance is required. A certificate suitable for framing along with a wallet-sized card will be issued to students graduating from this class.
Compliance Solutions has been providing quality OSHA, HAZWOPER, Confined Space Entry, Emergency Response, DOT Hazmat and EPA Hazardous Waste Management training courses since December of 1995.
